STINTElectronic application systemThe STINT Foundation announces funding opportunities within a number of programmes each year. The deadline for applications varies from programme to programme. Announcements are published on the STINT Foundation webpages. All applications should be written in English and submitted electronically (except where otherwise noted). As there is no commonly accepted system for electronic signatures a paper copy of the first page of the application must be printed and signed by the applicant. There is an option in the system for printing such a page. The signed copy should be sent by regular mail to STINT, Skeppargatan 8, 114 52 Stockholm, within a week of the deadline for applications. Applications within most programmes (Institutional Grants, Institutional Grants for Younger Researchers, Scholarships for doctoral studies) should be registered and submitted in the electronic system no later than 17:00 (CET/Swedish Time) on the date of the deadline. These applications cannot be submitted after the deadline, date and time. We suggest you submit your application early. Applications within the Short Term Stipend Programme are however excluded, as they may be Applications for the STINT Institutional Grants and Scholarships for doctoral studies submitted on the forms for Short Term Stipends will not be considered. Instructions: Register as a new user if you have not already done so. The applicant must use his/her own account and data (Uppgifter). Please check that your earlier given data is still valid (eg. e-mail, telephone numbers). Log in to the system. Create an application for the programme where you want apply. If you intend to submit applications for several programmes you have to create a new application for each one. Fill in all the required fields on each page of the application. Remember to save each page with the save-icon before moving on to a new page. Submit the application when you are finished by clicking the send in-icon. The application system does not generate any e-mail confirmation for submitted applications. You can see the status of your individual applications on the first page after you have logged into your account again. Print a copy of the full application for your own reference. Print a copy of the first page of the application, sign it and send it by regular mail to STINT. If your project description requires the use of some specific characters, pictures, diagram’s or other graphics, these can be submitted by e-mail or sent as paper copies to STINT. Address them to the director of the specific programme. Please note that you are not required to fill in the entire application at once. Having saved individual pages of the application you can log out and later return to continue at your convenience. The application is open for changes until you decide to submit it to STINT. You can continue to work with it until the deadline. After the deadline all applications are locked and no more changes will be allowed.
